The Buffalo Rogue boys stepped off the practice field and into a hands‑on learning experience with first responders from the Getzville Fire Department and Amherst Police. The team participated in CPR training, gaining practical skills that can save lives both on and off the field.
Through guided instruction and real‑world demonstrations, the boys learned the value of staying calm under pressure, acting with purpose, and understanding how CPR can make a critical difference in an emergency.
This training reflects what Buffalo Rogue stands for: meaningful, community‑driven development that shapes strong athletes and even stronger young people. The experience reinforced responsibility, teamwork, and service—core values that matter far beyond the scoreboard.

This December, the Buffalo Rogue boys stepped off the practice field and into a mission of compassion—creating holiday cards for individuals facing illness during the holiday season.
With markers, stickers, and a whole lot of heart, the team crafted dozens of personalized cards filled with uplifting messages, cheerful artwork, and warm wishes. These cards were delivered to local hospitals and care facilities, bringing smiles to those who need it most.
This act of kindness reflects the Rogue culture: grit, gratitude, and giving back. While the boys train hard and compete with determination and grit, they also understand the power of empathy and community. Their holiday card project is just one example of how Buffalo Rogue builds character beyond the scoreboard.
The Buffalo Rogue Players and Families wanted people to know they’re not alone this holiday season.
“Moments like this remind us that our mission reaches far beyond baseball. At Buffalo Rogue, we’re shaping young people who understand empathy, service, and the impact they can have on others. These are the values that define our program and the character we strive to build in every athlete.”
